Josh DeWeese is a ceramic artist and educator. He is currently Director of Montana State University School of Art and Professor of ceramics. He co-founded the International Wild Clay Research Project.
He is also a regular contributor to the online art magazine, Hyperallergic. Rick’s work is characterized by its intellectual curiosity, wit, and a deep understanding of the cultural context in which art is created. His writing is infused with a sense of wonder and a passion for the creative process.
