Big Bend Bash Set to Break Down Barriers with Vibrant Art Gallery

The Barton Arts Movement (BAM) has announced its participation in the first-ever Big Bend Bash, a street festival that promises to bring the community together in a celebration of art and culture.

At the heart of the Big Bend Bash is a pop-up art gallery, the “Big Bend Art Walk” — formerly known as Art Alley — which will transform downtown Great Bend into a lively street festival packed with activities for all ages.

• Four age categories will be awarded, as well as the highly anticipated People’s Choice Bammy Award.

“We’re thrilled to add to the vibe and energy of the Big Bend Bash by bringing art into the mix,” said Andrea Bauer, a BAM volunteer. “Our goal is to encourage more artists to participate, and we’re confident that the addition of age categories will make it more accessible to everyone.”
