Summer Creativity Camps: Unlocking Potential
Sisters Art Works is excited to announce its summer creativity camps, designed to foster artistic expression and self-discovery in middle and high school-aged students. The nonprofit organization has partnered with regional teaching artists to create engaging and interactive sessions in various art forms, including music, theater, and self-expression.

Summer Camps and Workshops
String Lab
The String Lab half-day camp is a unique opportunity for students to explore the world of stringed instruments. Led by mandolin player and bandleader Joe Schulte, this camp will delve into the basics of playing the mandolin, as well as other stringed instruments. Students will learn the fundamentals of music theory, including chord progressions, scales, and rhythm. Key takeaways from the camp will include:

- Exploring different genres of music, such as bluegrass and folk

- Duration: Both camps will run for five days, from August 11 to Time: Everyone Can Paint: Adventures in Nature will take place from 1 to 4 p.m., while Beginner Ukulele: You Too Can Uke! will run from 9 a.m. to noon daily. Location: The camps will be held at a local art studio or community center.

The Livingstons will work with students to create a personalized plan for their acting career, helping them to set goals and achieve success.
