The Light Art Project
The Light Art Project is a unique and innovative initiative that brings together young people, local professionals, and the community to create a stunning display of light art. The project is designed to inspire creativity, foster collaboration, and promote the use of light as a medium for artistic expression.
The Process
The project begins with a series of workshops, where young people will learn the basics of light art and photography from local professional photographer Louise Scally. The workshops will cover topics such as:
During the workshops, participants will have the opportunity to work individually and in groups, exploring different themes and ideas. They will also have the chance to share their work and receive feedback from Louise and other participants.
The Final Display
After the workshops, the photographs will be selected and edited to create a cohesive and visually stunning display. The final display will be projected onto the Templeshannon Community Centre wall on January 11 and 12. The event will be open to the public, and attendees will be able to view the light art pieces in person.
Community Engagement
