Artistic representation for The Vibrant Street Art of Weston Wallz 2025

Street art transforms the town of Weston-on-Bristol from Saturday, July 19 to Sunday, July 27.

  • A mix of international and UK street artists will create 19 large-scale murals exploring themes of protest, identity, and community.
  • The event will be a celebration of street art and its ability to reflect the times we’re in.

These murals will be created with the input of local youth, ensuring that the community is actively involved in the creation process. This year’s highlight is the collaboration between the festival and North Somerset’s Youth Justice and Prevention Service. Artist Kid Crayon will co-create a mural with youth participants, giving them a platform to express their experiences and ideas through street art.

“Street art has always had the power to reflect the times we’re in. This year, we’re not just painting walls – we’re creating space for stories that often go unheard and we’re inviting the whole community to be part of that conversation.”

— Stephen Hayles, festival director, Upfest

The festival will take place during a weekend of free creative workshops, offering a range of activities for families.

A Posca doodle hut will provide a space for visitors to create doodles and experiment with upcycling. The festival is designed to be accessible and inclusive, with free workshops and activities. The S M Art Sprayjam live painting event will showcase a variety of art styles, and visitors can participate by adding their own designs to the murals using MTN spray-paint. There are plenty of opportunities for visitors to get creative and engage with the art on display.

Weston Wallz 2025 is the fifth year of the festival, which has grown significantly since its inception.

As the festival continues to evolve, it remains committed to its core values of celebrating street art, promoting community engagement, and fostering creativity.

Visitors can travel sustainably to Weston for the festival, with Great Western Railway as the sustainable travel partner.

The festival is produced by Upfest in partnership with Weston Town Council, Super Culture, Arts Council England, POSCA, and MTN Spraypaint, making it a collaborative effort with local and national organizations.
